Hodane Abdi is a financial analyst and community-minded board member, currently completing a Master of Management Analytics at Queen's University's Smith School of Business.

She brings seven years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, alongside a strong foundation in data analysis, financial modelling, and stakeholder communication, translating complex financial information into clear recommendations for senior leaders. She is also a Data Analyst with the Queen's University Alternative Assets Fund and is bilingual in English and French.

Hodane is passionate about opening doors for others through education, believing that access to knowledge and opportunity can change the course of a life. Through her work in finance, analytics, and community leadership, she hopes to help others find the same paths that have shaped her own journey.
